We currently offer one menu per service, a three course at lunch and a six course at dinner. Lunch is £35 per person and Dinner is £85.00 per person. We serve our set menu during lunch and dinner on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a different menu running on a Sunday.
We will be serving our fabulous festive menu on the following days for both lunch and dinner:
21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th & 30th December
Lunch – £55 per person
Dinner – £110 per person
Kickstarter’s can be used, although there will be a £20 per person supplement.
Sunday Service runs from 12.00pm with our last sitting at 6.00pm. We offer a two course menu, with extra sides. We don’t cater allergies or dietary needs except for a Coeliac diet.
From Thursday to Saturday, our lunchtime service is strictly a 12.00pm arrival and dinner is 7.00pm. Food is served roughly 40 minutes later. Our bar is open from 12.00pm each day for drinks should you wish to enjoy a drink in the bar first.
A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to all restaurant bills.
We are sorry but given the length of menu and the style of food we don’t think that our restaurant is suitable for younger children. We don’t therefore allow children under 11 in the restaurant in the evening. We are able to allow children in at lunch time but we don’t offer an alternative menu to the full three course offering. This also applies on a Sunday. We do not have highchairs.
Dogs are welcome outside and in the bar area but not in the restaurant, unless they are assistance dogs.
If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please make a note when booking. Whilst we work tirelessly to keep our food preparation area clean, we do prepare other allergens in the space so cannot ever completely guarantee an allergen free environment. Whilst we can cater for allergies and serious dietary requirements, we will need 24 hours’ notice. We do not cater for dislikes.
Due to the layout of our restaurant and working towards making our dining room as safe as possible for diners, we are only accept tables of up to six people.
Due to the current climate, constant uncertainty about isolation and a third wave we have decided that we’ll only be releasing one month’s worth of reservations at a time. The next month will be released on the 1st of every month. For example, we will release November’s bookings on the 1st September. We hope this means we won’t have to rearrange too many bookings should there be any issues beyond our control.
We don’t have our own car park at Heft but there is plenty of parking around the village. We politely ask that you respect our neighbours and don’t block access. We also ask that you refrain from parking directly in front of our next-door neighbour’s house. Please allow enough time to arrive in time for your reservation.
We are a small, independent, family run business and therefore take card details for every diner.
Bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days before your booking. After that point, up until 72 hours before, we will charge 50% of the cost of the meal unless we can re-let the table. If a cancellation happens with 72 hours of arrival then the total cost of the meal will be charged unless we can re-let.
In light of the current situation we advise taking out travel insurance to cover an potential losses.
